WALB News 10 with Meteorologist Yolanda Amadeo dropped by Fitzgerald to help kick-off the annual Wild Chicken Festival and to meet members of the community. Fun time for all!
Medicaid is the lifeline for people with disabilities to live in their community. On March 15th, a group traveled to Atlanta to the Capitol where they were able to share their concerns about Medicaid with Senator Tyler Harper

Advocacy Day #5 UNLOCK Coalition was on February 28, 2018.
UNLOCK Coalition at the Capitol was held to educate many the importance of community integration. Senator Tyler Harper heard the group concerns about the 7,000 people still on the Waiting List.
Also, for the first time, our agency was extremely proud to have a tie for 2nd and 3rd runner-ups. 2nd runner-ups were: Horace Collins and Fayer Fuller. They were awarded certificates and a $50 gift card. 3rd runner-ups were: Jetoine Alford and Wanda Faye Smith. They were awarded certificates and a $25 gift card.
