Hometown Holiday Trail of Lights
The community traditional parade was redesigned into a new format. Businesses and organizations decorated the median parks throughout downtown to create a community light display. Opening night was on December 3rd from 6pm to 8pm. Roads were closed so that family and friends could walk, run, or bike through the downtown light display and enjoy the Christmas festivities.

2020 Mayor's Motorcade
On November 30, 2020, The Jessamine Place staff and members of People First presented a donation of $300 to Mayor Jim Puckett for the annal Mayor’s Motorcade. Brooks, Eddie Conner, Jennifer Griffen, Carletha Ford, and Wanda Young. The proceeds help the residents at Central State Hospital enjoy this holiday season.

Happy Boss Day
National Boss’s Day was celebrated on Friday – October 16, 2020. This day recognizes the hardworking boss overseeing the workplace. Employees across the United States show appreciation and thankfulness to their bosses. Many leaders carry heavy loads. While their position holds them responsible for a department, business or organization and leading it to success, their list of responsibilities are multifaceted.
