Happy Boss Day

Boss_Day

National Boss’s Day was celebrated on Friday – October 16, 2020. This day recognizes the hardworking boss overseeing the workplace. Employees across the United States show appreciation and thankfulness to their bosses. Many leaders carry heavy loads. While their position holds them responsible for a department, business or organization and leading it to success, their list of responsibilities are multifaceted.

The Jessamine Place workforce would like to thank Mrs. Brooks for her leadership, hard work, and dedication to our agency.

Direct Support Professionals Week

The week of September 13th -19th, 2020 is a time of celebration at The Jessamine Place. It is a special time to recognize our Direct Support Professionals for the amazing work they do. Nationally, this week showcases the dedicated and often unsung work of our incredible DSPs. Our agency festivities for our DSPs included a social distancing event with fun, door prizes, PPE distribution, and a food gift certificate.

May Is for Moms

Mothers_Day

Mothers Are Special Because…

  • If it weren’t for your mom, you wouldn’t be breathing right now.
  • Mothers are the emotional backbones of the family.
  • Mothers have the magic touch (and kiss) to help us heal our wounds, physical and emotional.
  • Mothers work hard and make sacrifices, so our lives would be better.
  • Mothers are forgiving—so forgive her in return. Perhaps, there is nothing as valuable as the gift of forgiveness.
  • Mothers support your dreams when no one else will.
  • A mother’s ears and eyes hear and see everything. They also have a computer-like memory.
  • A mother’s smile, when it is directed toward you, makes your day a whole lot better.
