Way To Go, Mattel!

On Monday, February 4, Mattel announced that its Barbie Fashionistas line will come out with two dolls with disabilities in June of 2019. In addition, there will dolls with braided hair texture and more realistic body type. Also, there will be Barbies in a wheelchair and with a removable prosthetic leg. 

Mattel representative stated, “Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is a critical component of our design process and we are proud that today’s kids will know a different image and experience of the brand.”

Willie and his staff, Katina Hall, used printouts of important facts and key figures to educate others on important accomplishments. Please take time out today to see the impact of those features.
