Baskets_of_Love

February is the month of love. This February, People First, gathered supplies and donations to make beautiful gifts baskets. The baskets were created by People First members and supporters and were given to residents of the local nursing homes to boost morale. People First wanted residents to know that they are loved and cared for regardless of their placement.

This is also a great time to join. People First is an advocacy group for individuals with all types of disabilities. They advocate for better services, to raise awareness, and to change laws at the local and state level.

Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of every month and TJP Educational Center. Dues are $2 a month or $24 a year.
