Congratulations to Samuel N. Manley who on December 16 graduated from Wiregrass Technical College with an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.  Samuel is the son of Samuel M. (self-employed General Contractor) and Constance Manley (Budget Analysis 2 at The Jessamine Place).

Constance who plans to retire from The Jessamine Place in early 2022, made the decision to begin studies at then East Central Tech College when Samuel was around 2 years old and enrolled into the Accounting program. Upon completion of the Accounting diploma program in 1989, Philip C. Jay and Helen Adams-Johnson hired Constance as the Accountant. In 2007, she returned to Wiregrass College and earned her Associate in Science degree.  Constance plans to retire from the Jessamine Place with 31+ years of service with the State of Georgia.

Samuel joined the TJP family in April 2019 and made the decision to enter the Radiologic Technology degree program at Wiregrass Tech College in fall of 2019.  Samuel completed his studies in December of 2021 earning the Outstanding Academic Excellence Award with a 4.0 GPA and a 94 score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam.

Samuel received other Wiregrass College awards including the:

* Outstanding Performance Academically and Clinically Award from SGMC-Lanier Campus (Lanier County)

* Outstanding Performance Academically and Clinically Award from Hughston Sports Clinic (Valdosta)  

* Outstanding Performance Academically and Clinically Award from Dorminy Medical Center of Fitzgerald.

 Samuel plans to work in the radiology field in the South Georgia area and to return to school to further his studies in the Radiology Science field of studies.
