On September 26, Jessamine held a “Meet & Greet” Stakeholders Meeting with Support Coordination from Professional Counseling Services of Americus, Inc. The agency’s entire workforce is being recognized as September Employees of the Month for the awesome job during the agency’s accreditation. The Jessamine Place Achieves CQL Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation
The Jessamine Place has been awarded the four-year Person-Centered Accreditation from CQL I The Council on Quality and Leadership. This awards confirms that the organization embraces person-centered solutions to improve the quality of life for people receiving supports and services.
When The Jessamine Place partnered with CQL to pursue accreditation, it undertook a rigorous process to review and improve supports and services. The efforts of The Jessamine Place were focused on empowering the people who receive supports to pursue what really matters in their lives, and achieve their personality-defined outcomes.
The Jessamine Place has been awarded CQL accreditation as a result of demonstrating proficiency in the following areas:
Basic Assurances Ensuring fundamental safeguards related to health, safety and human security Personal Outcomes Measures Supporting and empowering people to achieve their goals and dreams Person-Centered Excellence Demonstrating organizational commitment to continued enhancement of systems

The agency is very proud to announce that we have 3 new certified Critical Incident Reporting (CIR) Investigators. On August 1 – 3, Constance Foster, Linda Sue Cole, and Crystal McCranie successfully completed their certification for CIR Investigation. Training was held in Atlanta, Georgia.
